We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent of Operations Manager in Kinloss, covering Lossiemouth, Elgin, Kinloss, Inverness and Aberdeen

HOURS OF WORK:  Monday to Friday, 37.5 Hours per week

Join our vibrant, inclusive community in Complex Facilities working on Regional Accommodation Maintenance Service (RAMS) contracts as part of the MOD's Future Defence Infrastructure Services (FDIS). The RAMS contracts are across Central and Northern England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The contracts include responsive and planned preventative maintenance as well as improvement and refurbishment projects to approximately 25,000 homes.

Are you an operations Manager seeking the next step in your career?  Here at Amey we are looking for an operations Manager to join the team working on site to the delivery of all Amey contractual outputs and manage Supply Chain to ensure that all statutory, mandatory and reactive performance indicators are consistently achieved within area of responsibility

 

What you will do:

As Operations Manager you will manage the operational delivery of Estate Management tasks as well as, plan, direct and control activities.

 

Daily tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the effective, compliant and timely delivery of maintenance and response works in accordance with statutory legislation and MoD Mandatory requirements, complying with all Health and Safety and Environmental standards and policies.
  • Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure they are to an acceptable standard and, where required, act as Method Statement Coordinator to ensure a consistent approach at site
  • Support end users in the development of new work requirements including the provision of formal Additional Works project submissions.
  • Coordinate the day to day activities of the site team, monitor the safe working of Skilled Persons, and ensure all operatives follow the requirements for JSP 375.

 

What you will bring:

Ideally you will have experience of managing and supervising staff in Construction, Property maintenance or related field to include:

  • HNC, or equivalent, level qualification in a Building/Civil Engineering or Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Management level qualification in H&S and Environment (e.g. SMSTS)
